This is one of my favourite places in Oxford. The food is consistently delicious and the service excellent. The cooking is pretty much exactly what you would get in a great place in Thailand. They have toned down the chilli a bit but you can still get some pretty fiery dishes if you want. And on top of all that... More

Located in a alley down from the High street, it is a beautiful venur decorated in the authentic thai style of wooden sculptures and objects. Large groups are well accepted and dealt with. The service is ok but the server`s English is lacking makin git hard to decide on a dish as they are written in Thai with a very... More

Chiang Mai gets incredibly busy at dinner on weekends... Booking necessary, and even then, your table might not be ready on time. If you order lots of stuff including wine (lots of or expensive wine), the service is attentive... If you don't, then service leaves a bit to be desired. However, this is because it gets so busy, not because... More

We had to wait for a table and I expected it to be a rushed meal, but it wasn't. Staff were pleasant and gave us plenty of time to choose and we were not at all harried or made to feel we needed to move on. Food was good but nothing exceptional.

Try the steamed sea bass with chilli and lime. It's hot, sour and sweet in the right combination. We love to have it with deep fried squid and thai iced tea.

We ate here lateish last Saturday and were welcomed warmly. Not everywhere is delighted to see customers at 9.30 but the place was buzzing. We waited a few minutes to be seated and were found a small table in the downstairs dining room. The restaurant is three small dining rooms over two floors, leading to a cosy and intimate atmosphere.... More

Certainly was impressed with the inviting service as well as the restaurant environment. The food itself is some of the best Asian cuisine I have tasted so far in Oxford. It was fresh and reasonable portion size. I can say without a doubt that I plan to visit here once again.

Wonderful food, well worth a visit but make sure you book first. Good service, and they don't hurry you.

This was a fantastic find in Oxford, so be sure not to overlook it. In my opinion much better than many restaurants currently rated higher in tripadvisor. The restaurant has a unique charm in terms of location and layout - down a Dickensian alleyway to a ramshackle building which is twisting in every direction but held together through history and... This was a very acceptable meal. For sure it was not the best Thai meal in the world, outside Thailand, but the food was natural, fresh, flavoursome and well balanced. They signal hot being 2 peppers but do nit be put off, thats mild so comforting. Fish cakes are a good barometer, and these were eell made. There are 2... More
