We went out with friends for a birthday; it has everything- great food, great atmosphere & great bar staff. I really recommend it.

My husband and I have been twice and really enjoyed the food. The waitor was very friendly and made sure we were comfortable.

Cocktails where beautiful, i had a twisted french champaign and it was really nice, it was £4 instead of £6 because it was happy hour! the interior is very modern and play good music.

While the Oriental Pearl doesn't really rank alongside my favourite Chinese restaurant (Henry Wong's in Birmingham - in a league of its own, see my other reviews!), it's nonetheless a very good restaurant. I go to the Pearl about twice a year as its on my doorstep and I often overlook it for other local restaurants. The food and service has always been good and they have always been able to fit us in, even when a big group descended during a test match.

this has to be the best chinese resturant in the local area, staff are friendly, food is well cooked and tastes fantastic, we eat here every 2/3 months and love it!
