Great to find a privately owned pub, nothing was too much trouble, extremely friendly, the landlord came over to see if we were all OK. A lively pub, excellent food and a superb choice of real ales, all at very reasonable prices. Will definitely be back.

Nice country pub. Parking is on street. Proper pub food and proper cask ale available all at a reasonable price. Staff and landlord are friendly and happy to chat. Not the biggest venue so probably more suited to couples or small groups. Does what it says on the tin.

popped out for lunch for my mums belated birthday and popped to the white bear in stillington and the food was lovely and the desserts where out of this world homemade sticky toffee date sponge with toffee sauce was really nice only thing i could say was there could of been more of it as it was so yummy lol

A group of us were staying in Stillington for a week for a friends birthday and popped into the pub a few times. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and very helpful! Food was good and good value for money.
