Had a very nice meal here. Staff were Friendly but unobtrusive. Food served quickly. Lovely to find an authentic family run restaurant .
As this restaurant is a little out of the way you can generally count on being able to get a walk in table. With so many chains crowding the independents out it is great that York still has a good number. This is an authentic, family owned business that serves relatively basic, good value food. Atmospheric small Italian restaurant sat just outside the city walls run by Italians with passion and pride. Serves a traditional range of pastas, pizzas and main courses - all well cooked and served fairly... More

So, I... More
Lovely place. Authentic Italian and the nicest garlic bread in the world! Highly recommend the porfitoroles!

All the servers from the family made us feel most welcome and the service was most attentive. The wine selection was good (we chose a known chianti). All our meal selections of pasta dishes were very good....and the lasagne... More

Staff were very attentive but not over-bearing, the food was well presented, hot and very enjoyable, drinks were reasonably priced. All in all a very pleasant... More
