Popped in for a meal pre cinema, have been previously and thought although nice service was slow. Vast improvement and perhaps i was a little harsh in judgement previously as it was a reasonable sized party. Three courses served quickly and very nice food (highly recommend the Seafood spaghetti from specials or King Prawn spaghetti from the menu). will be... More

A busy brasserie style restaurant with great decor & ambience. The name & decor suggests the food is French but the menu is slightly confused as to what style cuisine it's serving - Italian, Asian, Indian, English !! The staff & service exceeded expectations as did the quality of food and cooking. I had delicious cheese soufflé followed by rack... More

We ate here on Friday night and were pleasantly surprised. It's somewhere that I've walked straight past many times but never thought to have actually tried. Decided on La Pharmacie after wanting to go somewhere special for a meal (rather than the millions of pubs in Teesside) and didn't want a chain/company owned restaurant. The decor is amazing. The tables... More

For starters I ordered bread and olives. The bread was disappointing and had an stale taste about it. For the main I had lamb 3 ways. The lamb navarin tasted overpoweringly of liver. I understand that a navarin is generally the cheaper cuts of lamb not the organs. Nevertheless the rack and confit where tasty albeit overdone. The most annoying... More

Nice atmosphere, good food, good wine. Very short distance from the Thistle hotel. A very good choice to go out for a dinner.

We took advantage of a Groupon voucher, but would have been happy paying full price. A nice warm interior, staff were very polite and attentive. We had 3 different starters which eveyone agreed were very nice. We then had 3 different mains, which were all delicious, well cooked and presented. Draught Italian beer to wash it down with and a... Good food, good choice menu, good service. Good restaurant for a nice relaxed meal. Little bit of a walk from centre of town but worth it!
