Description: From the same stable as the renowned Chutney Mary comes Amaya, a vibrantly decorated, Michelin star-awarded restaurant in a smart buzzy Knightsbridge location. The rosewood and sandstone interior strikes a chic note in perfect tune with the intelligent, modern menu. The open kitchen employs three types of Indian grilling technique and complex marinades to produce sophisticated cuisine designed to be shared and served as it is prepared.

It will not be my last lunch at Amaya. If I was pleased with my first visit, today's makes me even more pleased. Food quality, wonderful. Ambience, lovely. Service, distinguished and non-intrusive. There must be something wrong in a rating system that puts neighbouring Petrus Nr. 1 and Amaya Nr. 466.

You will like this restaurant. It is an Indian Grill and tapas restaurant rolled into one. Extremely expensive but if you are a 'foodie', you will think it worth the money. My son who is not a big fan of Indian food said he loved it which was high praise. The Chef's tasting menu is a very good value if... More

I had a chicken and salad which taste like a dry old meat and souce was tasty from everything(very bad combination). The salad was ok and... More

I had been wanting to eat here for some time. I went in a group of eight and someone persuaded us all to have the tasting menu. The food was good but not excellent. I would recommend avoiding the tasting menu as it has things such as lobster, scallops and oysters, all of which I like but I don't think... More

Fantastic Indian-Fusion food in a beautiful, modern setting served tapas-style.Particuarly memorable were the Black Pepper Chicken Tikka, Lamb with ginger, lime and coriander as well as the marvellous vegetarian dishes: sweet potatoes with a sweet-spicy yoghurt sauce and the fried green beans with caramelized onions. We looked at the tasting menus and picked from each of them. The cocktails were also... More

Indian, but not as we know it! No flock wallpaper and hefty orange curries here! The delicates dishes are served beautifully taster plate style, the flavours are incredible. This is one of my favourite places in London. Cool buzzy atmosphere, very stylish interior, fabulous staff. Good value too for such high quality dishes.

We dined at this restaurant a couple of months ago and loved it, but the experience last night was like a different restaurant, the attentiveness had gone and what is a complicated menu was lacking in interpretation and the inexperienced staff what we believe gave poor advice and suggestions and tried to upsell on dishes that were not what we... We were keen to visit Amaya as we often go to Chutney Mary & have also been to their sister restaurants. My partner visited a year or so ago and I had never been but based on our love of Chutney Mary, I had high expectations. Although the food was good, it wasn't as good as Chutney Marys. The food...
