An amazing experience, the food was great. Slightly pricey but totally worth it, will definitely go again... in fact, I am booking already!

Although the soup, the slald and meat and the vegetables were all edible, there was no flavour in any of it. The idea of this restaurant is for a chef to cook meat and veg on a hot plate (Tepan yaki) whilst doing some circus acts with the knife and his hat. All very amusing if you didn't end up...

Where to start?
There’s a comment in one of the reviews that for the price, you could’ve gone to Nobu and enjoyed the food in what is one of London’s top restaurants. Other comments state that Benihama’s is pure theatre – by that they must mean the clowns at a circus cause theatre it’s not. Our ‘chef’ is cooking on...

Visited here for a friends birthday in a Sunday night and had a fantastic time. We went for the £23 a head promotional menu and it was perfect, plenty of food all of which was delicious. The show put on by the chef was brilliant, really good fun and made for a really great night. Highly recommended.
Benihana has £50 mains and has the most disgraceful loos for a restaurant that would dare to charge you that amount. It is worth the first time for the whole 'experience' but not really worth a second visit as food is nothing special (served in great amounts) and even though service is good, there is very little value to pay...

We were celebrating our son's 15th birthday; the group included two teenagers, two grandmothers (76 and 90) and lots of ages in between. We had an absolutely brilliant time. Benihana has a very clever formula: you sit at tables of eight, in a sort of semi-circle (three sides of a rectangle to be precise) around a teppanyaki grill and the...

Excellent food prepared in theatrical Teppanyaki style. Great 8 people table arrangements create a social dining experience that is most enjoyable. Experience from start to finish was 5 star!
Love Japanese food, and Benihana is a good experience of Teppanyaki. Choice of some good set menus with a range of fish, shellfish and meats.
The chef was really good, not too in your face which can happen sometimes at Benihana. The food was cooked to perfection but found the wine, which was £30 a bottle was no where near...

This is really a mystery. The decor is either ironic or dreadful and the food is very so so. The price however is sky high, and there's the mystery.
We went to Benihana in Chelsea last night after visiting the V&A and Natural History Museum. It was a late company christmas party and we had not been to a Benihana's in about 9 years, so we thought we were well overdue.
I had made reservations via Top Table for 6:45, not knowing how long it would take to get...
