If you want an Indian meal in central London, Gopals is a good no frills option. Good food, pleasant if a bit dated ambience, and good service. Great value for money.

This cosy little restaurant is reliably excellent. Superb food, first rate staff, very good value.

Visited Gopals on Friday 4th Novmber. Went after reading the existing reviews on tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. The food was outstanding, service just as good. Was in a nearby pub having a beer before a West End show, we asked one of the locals to recommended an Indian restaurant and he gave us the name of this place, am happy to say we had an excellent meal and would definitely go back next time we're in the same part of town.

Gopals is a very good Indian restaurant in the heart of Soho. It has an interesting menu at reasonable prices. I'd particualrly recommend the Lamb Rogan Josh and the Keema.
