The burgers are great. The kids menu could be a bit more interesting and the interior feels a bit cramped, but otherwise this is a decent place to grab a no frills meal.
My only slight critism and this is my first time here is having to go up and order and pay before the food is delivered. It seems strange to me and I am sure must reduce the tips earned by the staff. But it was very good food.
Dined alone due to being on a course with nobody else staying over. Had the avocado and bacon chicken burger with the panko crumbs. Absolutely delicious! And had a wonderfully thick chocolate milkshake, which was also fantastic. I was surprised how expensive it could be, but the lunchtime deal looked good value - would eat in this chain again, and... Very nice Burger - nice milkshake - think there is better in London regarding a burger to be honest especially as its not that cheap
We came across GBK back in 2005 and stayed true fans! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great burger experience. The order taking is unique :) you sit, they bring over the menu, you have a debate with your friends, and then you go to the counter to order your precious burgers. We are big fans of the classic... Had dinner late one night while in London for business, staff super friendly and on the ball as well. Had the chicken skewers to start, tasted great, didn't wait long either, main dish was burger with bacon and cheese. Again tasted fantastic, also burger was cooked medium which I thought was fantastic, too many places are going for the well... More
They serve very good food here. There is a great selection of Burgers and drinks. I have always been more than satisfied with the service and the food. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
They do burgers well, but what would you expect from a place called gourmet burger kitchen. The prices are reasonable to slightly on the higher end for what you get. Service was friendly. Nice vibe in the evening.

The burger was well executed, meat tasted almost like home-made, but best of all was the new option to have char-grilled chicken as a beef option. This is still really a take-away, in that don't expect to sit in comfort, but as a... More
I've been to GBKs a number of times and the Putney one is no different. The burgers are decent but they're certainly not amazing. The burgers are pretty big, but the meat and buns are so high that you basically have to crush the whole thing down with your hand to fit it in your mouth and if you cut... More
