Description: Situated in London's Westbourne Park, just a five minute meander from the local tube stop, Mosob offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience the flavours and atmosphere of Eritrea. Family run, Mosob is warm and welcoming, with charming service really embracing the family-centric traditions of Eritrea and inviting guests to relax and unwind while being treated to the kitchen's vibrant cuisine. Influenced by geographic and historic links to Arabia, Ethiopia, the Sudan and Italy, Eritrean cuisine is uniquely distinctive with a strong variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes, individual spice blends and specialty injera bread used throughout, providing guests with flavours and eating styles they're unlikely to have come across before. Equally focused on tradition and history is Mosob's interior, carefully put together with colourful textiles, rough wood paneling and organic forms alongside contemporary lighting and furniture for comfort and style. Whether an intimate romantic meal, business lunch or dinner and drinks with friends, Mosob offers the food, atmosphere and service to ensure a night to remember.

Mosob is not just a restaurant, is an experience of exceptional taste and outstanding service. You feel absorbed in this atmosphere of traditional Eritrean colours and smells. It is truly ran by a passionate and customer orientated Eritrean family. It simply feels like home!!

This was my second visit to Mosob and once again I was not disappointed. The host Bini was fantastic and really engaging. The food was great; having spent 2 years in Eritrea and 6 months in Ethiopia the food here really does live up to real thing. Great atmosphere, service and food 5*

Reserved a table for 2 excited to try some new cuisine. It was easy to make a reservation, and the staff was friendly and accommodating when I had to move the reservation back only 1.5 hours before we were due. The food was absolutely delicious and really enjoyable to eat. A great place to go on a date or in... More

We visited Mosob on a Sunday afternoon in April having been so impressed with the Ethiopean cuisine we had at Addis in Cape in Cape Town, South Africa (my Tripadvisor review is here: http://goo.gl/f3R94). Although this is an Eritrean restaurant, the cuisine is very similar to that of Ethiopia, with both countries sharing a great deal of history. The style... More

The restaurant is quiet on weekdays, which is nice. We had the set menu because we didn't know what to order. Bear in mind the menu stated the set is enough for two. Personally, I think is enough for four! The staff is extremely friendly and I would definitely go back there with a bigger group. It is worth the... More

The number of times we have been here and introduced friends to this place beggars belief. As a couple who try not to eat in the same restaurant twice the fact that we have travelled to this little out of the way place on the Harrow road numerous times says everything. Wonderfully spiced dishes served on tasty injera served by... More

Eating at Mosob was fun because we were expected to eat with our hands. We had the Adi Keyfih set menu which came with spinach rolls, lentil rolls, meat samosas, 2 main meat dishes, 2 veggie dishes and dessert. Our mains arrived on a large communal platter with extra injera or flat bread on the side. We particularly loved the... More

This is a lovely restaurant - the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. We were slightly disappointed by the food but maybe it's because we had a vegetarian platter, and meat is perhaps the star. That said the veggie food was delicious and very filling. The bread you use to eat the food with your hands (no cutlery)... More

The food was absolutely delightful! I had Ethiopian/Eritrean food before, but this was really outstanding. Great value too: we order a set menu and was more than enough for two people. Definitely going back soon!

I have eaten at many places in my life...this place was very unique in the sense that it could only work if created with passion. The staff is clearly from the country of Eritrean and they pour their heart and soul into their creations. The food was DELICIOUS...very reasonably priced...and above all I took so much joy in learning from... More
