The location and venue is brilliant - inside the old Royal exchange. Food was very good except for steak that was tasty but tough. Service was very good. Seems all in our group enjoyed the night out.

Okay the summary - Not given the set lucheon menu upon arrival - calculated and deliberate I'm sure. I'm not the first one to comment upon this tactic. Taken here by two wonderful friends last week. Food was first class, service a little obsequious, views down to the floor were wonderful. Halibut with razor clams were sublime although a tad minuscule for this glutton. Guinness bread was a revelation. I will be going back!

First time. Did not know quite what to expect and was surprised. The food was excellent and the service faultless. The location makes it really convenient.

Fantastic location, ruined by cramming too many tables in and a very mediocre level of service (which included one of us getting the wrong main course). It's sloppy, uninspired and definitely one to avoid.

Great location overlooking Royal Exchange floor. Had an early dinner at 6.30- they start at 6 so quite quiet. Excellent table and cooking. We both had fish , and first class, very impressive. Interestingly, waiter was slow with the wine - and that is a first. Prices high, with starters over £10, and mains over £20 , but London prices.
