Now that Spring & Summer is around the corner, I would definitely recommend dropping into The Water Poet for refreshing ales and freshly cooked bbq burgers.

Went with colleagues after work on the premise that we could stand outside in the beer garden. It is pushing it a little to use the word Garden as it is more of a concrete courtyard. Very good atmosphere on weekends with plenty of rooms to mingle in. The roasts are very good and would recommend this place for large parties and a generally good time. Nice selection of beers and ales

This place is very good to start the evening, or for a bit of lunch. Pub grub is tasty, and generally good vibe for pints, with friendly staff. 5* for summer pints out the back!

The husband and I popped into the Water Poet for lunch after a tour of the Dennis Severs' House. What a great find! Staff is super friendly, pints were well priced, and the meal was wonderful! I got invited for leaving drinks there. They have a massive openspace "beergarden" in the backyard which is excellent in the summer to have a drink and a smoke. Further plus is they do sell meantime beer. Already went there again to show the place to my friends..

Great Atmosphere, Great beer, Great food, Great Staff, Great price. Can't say fairer than that.
