A little on the costly side but the produce and service are faultless. Overlooking the action of Borough Market. Great for a special lunch.

Four of us dined here Saturday evening. Everything was good - service, food, wine, ambiance, but nothing blew me away. Worked out roughly £90 per head for starter, main, shared sides, water, half a dessert and half a bottle of wine each. I had the scallops, followed by the sea bass. Enjoyed both, but soon became peckish again! I wouldn't...

I had Saturday lunch at Roast. Our table had been booked and the staff had no problems moving us to a table that we preferred.
The service was excellent, our order was taken quickly and advice re. food and drink well dispensed.
The food was taken from the fixed price menu, and was gin cured salmon, followed by mutton with...

Roast is a wonderful restaurant - excellent service; attentive but not overly so. The food is to die for. It's not cheap here but well worth the extra expenditure. Dinner for two with wine and service can be done for around £100. We often go here for special occasions and have never been let down. Highly recommend.

I have heard such high praises for roast London that when I went there for lunch yesterday I was very excited.
However the service was average, and the food below average.
Not only is their menue extremely over priced for what they offer, but the standard of food did not live up to the high prices. My guest had the...
