I cannot praise this place enough. It was wonderful. the food is so delicious and so much for the price. the atmosphere is great, the live music was super, the service was super. I was looking forward to authentic Lebanese cooking and a good atmosphere. S hown to the basement which was dark( bulb missing from overhead table light) and distinctly lacking in atmosphere. Unenthusiastic service, no effort made to suggest food which my 13 year old would like. Once our orders were taken and some time had passed were told that prawns... More

The food is pricey and the kebabs are dry. I have been maroush quite a few times, always thinking it might be better this time. Disappointed most of the occasions. Although surprising thing is I do know people who talk good about this place. Could be just me.

Food was authentic with a great variety of Mezzes, both hot and cold. There is live music in a room downstairs after 9:30pm. The service is not the best but they are very corteous. The manager/owner was very solicitous and offer dessert as a compliment.

We visited on sat night so had the £40 set menu. The food was more than enough .. fresh and tasty. We were shown to the back of the restaurant where we were partitioned off from the music/ dancing. The lighting was AWFUL .( difficult to see the food presented to us ) let alone the stage !! Mid eve... More

As a coeliac I am used to very different service in London restaurants. In Maroush the attitude was maybe the worst ever seen; the waiter's answer for what I could choose from the menu was " I can not guarantee anything but salad" and that was the end of discussion. His only concern was that the restaurant cannot take any... More
