Visited here tonight (25/4) on the recommendation of a colleague after eating together at The Pricess of Shoreditch. There are real similarities between these two gastro pubs. Great beer and very good food. Had the smoked mackerel starter which was flavoursome and well present. Not too big but certainly adequate in terms of size. Followed that by an excellent Rigatoni... Very friendly staff and atmosphere, in a lovely clean heated garden area.Food was great value for money and large selection of different and interesting food, however for those who are not too hungry you should definitely try their 'antipasti platter' - very filling!

Went to the Chapel for a few pints and some food and were positively delighted with the quality of the offerings. The beer was good and the food delicisous. They had an open kitchen so you can witness the making of it. if you are staying close to Edgware Road, this is definitively a place to search for.

We are locals in marylebone and I would say this is one of the top three pubs in the locale if not the best. Nothing fancy but good wholesome food in a casual environment which has a good vibe and can be quite busy on a warm evening. Will def go back. And the banofee pie was amazing.

If you love food and love eating in interesting surroundings this place is for you. The menu never fairs to offer wonderful surprises. The bread they produce is always very good. It is the best value for money in London and only half a mile from Marble Arch Try it you won't be disappointed

Our first trip to England with the family (2 kids), and this was recommended by the hotel concierge...two thumbs up! Traditional pub grub, but they have some twists as well since they are labeled a 'gastro-pub' Went there for lunch on a Saturday, then back for dinner on Sunday. Kids had burgers. Was hesitant for them since have heard that... More

It is a trendy place that you have to stumble upon, lots of young local energy and it's not type cast, i.e. you are not surrounded by stock brokers, advertising execs etc. The crowding moves around and you can always find a place to sit. The outdoor seating is a good size walled area, pleasant but a bit plain, and... More

Great pub near the Hilton off Edgware tube stop. Great selection of beer and wine. Has outside seating and couch seating as well as long table for large parties. Serves Lunch and Dinner. Good pub foods at good price. Friendly staffs. It seems to be popular with after work crowds, so when we were there on a Friday afternoon, it... More

Chapel Street runs just off the Edgware Road towards Marylebone and Baker Street away from Paddington, and The Chapel pub is almost opposite Edgware Road tube station. When we visited before the bar inside was always rammed with less people enjoying the beer garden outside, but thanks to the smoking ban this seems to have been reversed. It was busy,... More
