The restaurant is very smart and luckily, as we came straight from work, we were well dressed. I would not have felt comfortable if I was not in my work dress. The food was fine, with pretentions of grandeur. I'd say go for the experience, not the food.

Had a great meal with friends at the Criterion. The food was delicious and great value. Staff polite, did not rush us despite it being really busy. The design and decor is lovely. Will definitely go again.

Criterion is just across the piccadilly circus and in a very beautiful historical building. This is magnificient. But neither the starters nor the meals are so delicious.
