Description: Buzzing with Gallic charm, Incognico is a bright unpretentious brasserie close to Leicester Square in the heart of London's theatreland. Classic décor of leather banquettes, part-panelled walls and curvy red chairs adds to the cosy intimacy, while robust dishes such as poached smoked haddock with chive butter sauce and honey-roasted duck breast with pomme fondant fill the flavoursome menu. Whatever the occasion, business, celebrations, formal lunches or dinners, wine tastings or cocktail parties, the Private Room is the ideal venue for exclusive entertaining. The Private Room seats up to 20 persons around an oval boardroom table. A large Plasma screen allows you to show your own DVDs, play your CDs or make Power Point presentations.

I ate here with 3 friends at 5.30pm on a saturday night prior to going to les miserable at the Queens theatre. Firstly, the location is great as it's in the middle of Shaftesbury avenue and incredibly handy for all the theatres in this area. The restaurant itself was very pleasant, if not the most atmospheric (saying that, we were... More

I don't know what is wrong with the people that have given this place a good review, I went to incognico because my date got a free meal voucher. The food was was an insult to terrible food, I started with some rather brown looking salmon, while she had a noodle salad which tasted suspicioulsy like chicken supernoodles. This was... More

As a colleague of us decided to go for pasteur new, we decided to celebrate with a proper lunch rather than the usual fish & chips or a sandwich, The restaurant is just next to Leicester square, very close to the underground, which makes it very easy to be reached. Once we entered in the restaurant, I have immediately pervaded... More

Classy restaurant with attentive staff (without being intrusive)..... We had a delightful evening. The food was superb, fresh, fab presentation and every mouthful bursting with flavour. A great place to take your partner, or family/friends who appreciate quality food. I'll be recommending it to everyone I know.

I took my mum here for a pre theatre lunch and we were both delighted with the place, food fabulous, service immaculate, so many restaurants around west end are same ole same ole but this was exceptional, I had the pheasant ragu for starter and it was sublime ... Highly recommend

I purchased a deal online (2x starters, 2x mains and glass of champagne) for Incognico on Shaftesbury Ave. The ambient environment of the restaurant was appreciated after facing the hustle and bustle of a typical Saturday night in the west end. We were welcomed by a polite host who asked to take our coats and offered if we’d like our... More

We went for a pre-dinner meal on a Saturday evening, chosen because of proximity to the theatre & the fact it offered a pre-dinner menu & the table could be reserved. There was 5 of us & all really enjoyed the meal. We didn't feel rushed even though we were off to the theatre. The service was excellent.

We had a pre-theatre supper at Incognico on a Saturday evening. 2 of us selected the Haddock and 1 had the suckling pig. All were prepared and presented with care and the portion sizes were very generous. The one down side was as usual in very good restaurants, the veg was quite an expensive extra, but the deep fried cougette... More

I went there with a friend using a LivingSocial voucher. Initially, I was apprehensive as the place had very mixed reviews. However, I was pleasantly surprised the friendly welcoming staff who were all very attentive. Although it was quite a formal restaurant, there was a nice, relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. The food was really good with reasonable sized portions.... More

The food was good, not great, good and was sorely let down by a lack of atmosphere and strange seating - my partner and I ended up sitting at a large round table facing other diners which made the experience feel rather impersonal.
