Culture Grub is a regular of mine, and it definitely has a certain charm. The service is lightning fast - too fast sometimes, but the food is reliable and cheap. Incredibly friendly staff and quirky atmosphere - great value for this part of London. Essentially a take-away with a lot of tables, but they want a quick turnaround on these... More

We went on a Sunday, and thus were offered the individual menu, with portions suitable for 1 or 2 people, whereas Tony's is normally a family style restaurant. We had Calamari - and seriously, it is suitable for 10, not 2! The portion was MASSIVE. and Very nice! Then she had seafood pasta, which was very good and I had... More

I have actually been here on several occasions because the food is good value. However there is only so much rudeness I can put up with and despite the fast service, I do not think this place deserves a good name. I have been there on my own and despite the place being empty of customers at the time they... More

...and that's it's charm! Look, don't come here for a romantic dinner, ok, but if you want to show how damn cool you are this is the place. You are bound to get moved from one table to another to make a new group fit in together, or even to share your table with other diners, and you are going... More

Used to go there very often for my lunch when I used to work around in SE1 area. Excellent food, large portion but always leaving a good taste in your mouth and good for your wallet! Friendly staffs and everything else is great. Ok there aren't too many seating spaces if you are having a group lunch and the opening... More

My feelings in regard to this restaurant are fairly mixed. The food was affordable, with everything on the menu priced inexpensively. I ordered lo mein with mixed seafood. My fiancé ordered chow mein with mixed meats. To my surprise, they used udon noodles for both dishes. Regardless, both meals were tasty. My biggest complaint was with the staff. The woman... More

My fave chinese place when I used to work around there. The portions are a nice size and will keep you filled and happy. The food is great for a chinese place. Try the Hot and Sour Soup it will leave you wanting more water and more soup! :-)
