Trendy decor which may be alright of an evening but doesn't work at lunchtime. Burgers and fries are ok at best certainly better to be had elsewhere in London.
Meatliquor fell short of what it'd been sold to us as : the best burger ever! (claims made by a drunken Irishman, we should have known better) but it was pretty good. It's hipster heaven but the music is good and the place is still nice. No booking, you have to accept you'll queue but not long. It's pretty well... More
Someone told us it's the best burger on Earth. I won't say that but burgers are pretty good (a bit too fat for me) and they have a mot of different side dish. Be ready to queue for 20 min. Inside everything is underground oriented. Very trendy and music is good.
Craving a meaty burger and proper onion rings, my 16-year-old-daughter and I ate here on our last night in London. There are only three reasons I didn't give it the full five stars…One, I felt a little dissed at the bar until I literally waved my hand in front of the bartender's face indicating that I was a thirsty person--then... The burgers here are worth queuing up for - nice soft buns enclosing some great patties. If you are hungry enough go for the doubel patty, the fries (not chips) are also just right. Leave some space for the peanut dessert.
I had heard the burgers were very good - but the queues were long. Both were true. Chatting with friends in the queue makes the time pass quickly and they did bring us out some of their wonderful huge onion rings. Once inside you give you give your name to the 'clipboard' person. Then you make your way to the... More
4 of us. Waited 40 minutes for a table at the bar, only to be shouted at staff that we were in the way but no other place to sit or stand. Eventually seated and had to wait another 20 minutes to order (tried to get waiters attention, but perhaps they couldn't see us as it was so dark in... More
Prior to leaving for a new job in Mongolia, my friends in London took me out for a farewell meal at Meatliquor in London. We had to queue outside as it was so busy, but the staff brought our some fried onion rings and pickles with mayonnaise to prevent the waiting folk from starving. The rings tasted divine! Once in... I went with a friend to Meat Liquor after hearing too much hype from friends and colleagues! We didn't have to queue thank God but on leaving saw a queue of 20-25 people outside waiting to be let in, I have to say I wouldn't bother if I had to queue that long. I had the Dead Hippie burger with... More
Amazing cocktails. Was busy so had to wait in bar area for a table. Cocktails were initially attractive as they are priced from only £7.50. Dont read the menu tho- ask the tender to make something ad hoc- just tell them what u like and they will create something to order for you. Cocktails made the experience for us! Well... More
