We chose this venue for a friend's birthday as it had an outdoor terrace and given the heatwave, we wanted an outdoor venue. Prices seemed reasonable compared to West End hotels and Greenwich is a nice spot in the sun. I made a reservation on the Friday evening and the girl took my reservation in broken English and I could... More

Today I had lunch with my husband at 16 Second West Brasserie, located on level 1 of the National Maritime Museum. The menu had a good range of choices and the food was very tasty and presented well. We had the beef hamburger, sea bream with pan fried gnocchi and for dessert the coconut panna cotta, the coffee was good... More

Excellent food - superb portions, delicious Yorkshire Puddings, fabulous beef, amazing pork... this is a great place for Sunday lunch, even if the decor and furnture are reminsicent of a school canteen, the bar, drinks, atmposphere and service are great. Lovely views over Greenwich Park, and good value too!

Just behind the Greenwich Maritime Museum, facing the Royal Observatory and Greenwich Royal park, is this delightful retaurant/coffee place. The service is impeccable, waiters/waitresses bending backwards to please you and even will go to the Museum coffee shop to get you what you want if the cake you want is not on the menu. You can use their deck chairs... More
