I popped in here just because I was passing and the menu looked good. I'm delighted I did. I only found out from the waiter that Cote is a chain with many outlets around London - it doesn't have a chain-y vibe at all. The food was really good - I had a "pre-show" 3-course meal which was a very... More

A quick lunch before "The Audience". What could be better than a glass of red wine & risotto vert for £9.95. The value of these restaurants is quite unbelievable. The staff are so efficient, friendly & welcoming. The atmosphere is "buzzy" and I am now just waiting to visit another of their brasseries. More please...............(and the sooner you open in... I went for the early set menu, probably shouldn't, portions were on the minuscule size. Friendly staff who were tolerant of my French

It was freezing cold and we'd just left the theatre, so we thought we'd take a chance on Cote. So glad we did! Apart from a really, really loud and obnoxious American at the table next to us who was holding court, the experience was great! The food was very, very good. The wine was lovely. The service was very... More

"Cote" do a fantastic job. They have a vgreat menu, fairly priced. Similar to Café Rouge but smarter. Their staff work very hard to keep everyone happy. I've been to the St Martin's Lane, Wimbledon village and Fulham branches - all very good. The St Martin's Lane one is very good for pre-theatre supper. Book in advance though as it... More

We want for a dinner and although the restaurant looked full, they have a dining area in the basement. THe food and prices are reasonable but on this Friday evening the basement was loaded with people and everybody taking at the same time Good for some Breasserie food but not exceptional

We returned to this restaurant after having gone there before and had an excellent meal, very good value on the Pre-theatre menu. We weren't disappointed! The service is excellent - attentive, quick, and friendly. The food is also excellent - well-presented, beautifully cooked. At under £40 a head for a 3-course meal including wine and coffee in the heart of... More

London has many restaurants to choose from. Here was one with French cuisine in a quiet part of town not far from Tottenham Court Road that fitted our middle class needs. Finding a good fillet of beef in the UK can be a problem. But here was the exception. It was delicious; I ordered a medium rare steak and that... More

This is a popular tourists' pre-theatre restaurant and so it's easy for those who manage such places to lose sight of the fact that they're not a 'tourist processing plant', but somewhere that should provide a proper dining experience. Such is this Cote, one of a chain of quality Italian restaurants where the food is of high quality, but where... More
