Description: L'Opera of Brompton restaurant has many strings to its bow ��� it's a family run Mediterranean deli, patisserie and salon de th�� on London's Brompton Road. Right in the heart of elegant South Kensington, L'Opera of Brompton prides itself on serving up organic homemade food to locals of southwest London, as well as those from further afield ��� the location means this a great spot to rest up after visiting the many local museums, or nearby Kensington Gardens. The food draws on Italian, Greek and Persian cuisines, and includes a selection of hot dishes, salads and cakes as well as fresh juices, tea and coffee. The d��cor draws influence from both France and Italy and the private room (available to hire for up to 20 people) is also an art gallery. Despite the ornate interior, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed; everyone from high flying business people to students and families will feel at home here.

Lunch was good untill I made the mistake of ordering turkish coffee, at £4.50 each! A rip off, especially at lunch time.

Coffee and sweet are over priced and poor quality (some sweets are bought from the supermarket!). also they added one order which we didn't ask for to increase the bill. total rip off!

£45 for tea, water and some sweets for 2 persons felt a little bit like being robbed. I also think it's very strange that they have a menu so you can see what things cost before you order but I guess that wouldn't work with these prices.

on our way to harrod's, my husband and i stopped here for lunch. the displays were charming and the food was delicious. there were lots of vegetarian options which was a big plus.
