A group of us from work had lunch here as they take the Tastecard and we were intrigued by the Russian menu. They really looked after us and the food was great. The goulash served in a whole hollowed out loaf of rye bread is delicious as was the herring and potato salad starter. It's a bit tricky to find... More

The second visit to Sobranie was as surprising as the first. Surprisingly good. We both started with the prawns, which were perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. I opted for the lamb cutlets which were incredibly succulent. The service, live music, ambience was just perfect. I bet I will be back soon.

We were quite baffled by this menu. The portion size was huge, the staff werent particularly English speaking. The food was cheap in relation to the heavily overpriced wine list. I would stop in here again if the other restaurants in the area, and there are many, were all closed down.

Having just come back from an exciting night out at The Sobranie, I will try to keep it short but in essence. Family run place by the owner who knows how to entertain and look after people. Food is the collection (hence the name 'Sobranie' I guess:) ) of the best dishes from Russian, French, Georgian and even Azerbaijani cuisine.... More

Recently visited this restaurant as part of a work evening. The authentic Russian cuisine was wonderful as was the Georgian cheese bread. Staff were really attentive. The evening also included a really lovely Ukrainian white wine, Aligote, which tastes deklicious and due to the type of manufacturing does not give you a sore head the next morning.Wonderful evening

My wife and I stumbled across this gem of a restaurant last Saturday evening .A delightful solo female singer was belting out some great jazz songs and these were accompanied with a super meal . We skipped starters and went for what can only be described as the best Chicken Kiev either of us have ever had . I had... More
