If you like your fish and chips with a light and "fluffy" batter (as it should be) - then avoid this restaurant. Our starter, clam chowder, was extremely watery, tasteless and full of bits of crab shell. Our fish was incased in a clay like crust so hard to cut through we probably would have needed a jack hammer. The... More

The seafood platter was great, with big lobster. The service was good, the ambience also nice. Would recommend this.

We wondered why we were able to get a table for 3 at sunday lunch without booking- i suspect this is a place where people go once. Why do wait staff try to remember orders arther than write them down, especially if English is not your first language? We waited ages then got battered not grilled fish (not bad but... More

This was our fourth time here but, sadly, it will be our last. On each previous occasion we have been very impressed by the quality and size of the fish and chips. So, naturally, we booked a table and came here for a fourth time. Our first disappointment was that our favourite table was occupied - in fact, it was... More

Honestly, having to wait around 40 minutes to order our meals and another 25 minutes for it to arrive was a shame. The waitress was clearly struggling to attend all the tables on own. I found the manager quite rude. He even said my bill as cheap without I asking him anything. I don't think paying £45 for a Groupon... More

We read all too often about bad service, rude and indifferent staff. Well, this ranks as my best service experience of all time. We arrived early, with our 3 month old, and as it was a late lunch we had our pick of tables. The waiter asked where we would be most comfortable and we spent time going through the... More

As seafood lovers, we have had our fair share of disappointments over the years. Happily, our first visit to Geales was completely satisfying. A warm welcome, a cosy room on a cold Winter's night, a quiet corner in a Chelsea backstreet just 3 minutes walk from the Kings Road, all conspired to put us in a good mood. That was... More

Found this restaurant by accident having had a browse around the area which is very upmarket. Had a good table in the window - enjoyed a relaxing dinner in pleasant surroundings. Fish and presentation good and pleasant waitress. Would have been nice to have a roll or bread and butter with the wine whilst waiting for the food but no... More

Below expectation, the restaurant is overrated, the service was fair, but as a frequent london visitor I'm sure you can get a better fish& chips at most pubs in the city, the menu was misleading a very bad experience.
