I was there a few Sundays ago with 2 friends. I am definitely going back and highly recommend this place. The food was superb and really fresh, a lot of wines to chose from and the service was excellent. Our Spanish waitress was very polite, friendly, professional and kind! Definitely going back!

Its very easy to travel the length of Italy in an evening, the selection of dishes make one try simple provincal food, which we found cooked perfectly. Were seated in the midst of the buzz catching the smells of other dishes as they swept past. Felt the room was a tad bright for an evening, but the momentum of the staff... More

Have been to Zucca a few times and they have been pretty consistent in their offering. Its a great place for simple, Italian food accompanied by a buzzing atmosphere and open plan kitchen. Friendly service if a little haphazard at times. Veal main is ample portion for meat lovers and there are some good pasta/veg options. Wine list little pricey... More

We dined at Zucca on a Saturday night; it was busy and we had booked some weeks in advance. The dining room is lovely, discreet, stylish, and service was excellent - unobtrusive, polite and helpful. The menu is very limited, but we all found everything we had delicious (there are plenty of vegetarian options). I had burrata (mozzarella) with a... More

When booking Zucca I checked that vegetarian options were on the menu and was assured there were. When I confirmed the booking I checked again and so was a little disappointed to find that the only main course of rigatoni with sweet and sour cauliflower actually had anchovies included. We asked if they could be omitted but it was suggested... More

We had to wait a month for our table but it was worth it. We were welcomed warmly and shown to our table, although - and this was the only flaw - no-one seemed to realise we were in their section. It took an age to flag someone down to order drinks and every course/drink thereon in. It was a... More

I was initially sceptical of the hype caused by Zucca but having visited, there is a very good reason why you have to book weeks ahead. Unless you don't like simple, straightforward and expertly-cooked Italian food, there's no reason why you won't enjoy this. Perfect for any occasion, work or pleasure.

When London restaurants have great food, good service, and a pleasant location, it always seems that you have to pay an arm and a leg. Zucca gets it right. It's simple, streamlined ingredients that are well-sourced and beautifully cooked. And two people can easily have two courses each for under £40, which is shockingly good value for money. The only...
