As a Malaysian I surely cannot compare the Malaysian food in UK to authentic Malaysian food, but surprisingly it is pretty good and made me feel like I'm back in my country again.

My wife and I came here mid-afternoon when it was quiet. The toilets are in the basement and there was a smell of blocked drains in that area. The food quality was generally OK: an average Malaysian, with the exception of the chicken satay which I considered undercooked. The waitresses were too busy chatting to notice my trying to get...

so good chicken noodle soup, gado gado salad, and very friendly staff,
I know next to nothing about Malaysian food, so I'm not in position to compare this to authentic Malaysian. That said, the food here was delicious. I had beef rendang. It was full of exotic spice, including plenty of chile, and rich from coconut milk. Decent sized portions. The service is efficient. The dining room isn't fancy and the tables...

I have travelled quite extensively and one of the best food i have eaten was in Malaysia. Malaysian food is a perfect blend of spices, taste and authenticity. It's hard to find such food in London, but hold on thankfully we have Rasa Sayang.
Ok, the food at Rasa Sayang may not be as great as what you find in...

This is a small and simple place in Chinatown with a decent selection of really quite authentic Malaysian food - I regularly travel to Malaysia and know what it should taste like... ;-). About half of all customers were Asian - probably Malaysians who were craving for some familiar fare far away from home...
My curry laksa was a little...

Simply one of the best and authentic Malaysian/Chinese cuisine food in town. We ordered 5 different dishes and they were consistently good. Having traveled around the UK for 3 weeks on holidays, the food here was home away from home. Warm/casual atmosphere. Good value and service.
My Malaysian relative and I ordered nasi lemak, satay and beef rendang and tea tarik. If we were to eat there again, will definitely order the beef rendang and tea tarik. Simply delicious.
Loved the food - very authentic taste - was an exciting meal. Was dissapointed to see them using frozen, packaged "parathas" - it was opened from a package, thawed and heated. Its like going to a bakery and being served industralized pre-packed bread bought from a super market.
