Great Fish and Chips plus a few pints of local brew made this a memorable stop. Lots of Black suits from the banker boys, but a very cool atmosphere

The four of us all had something different, from burger to salad to fish and chips, and of course pie, all enjoying what we had. The price is a bit high for the neighborhood, but the norm for London I guess. (L10 per meal.) Nice assortment of house beers.
Always surprises me that a lot of the restaurants around Smithfield don't serve steaks. This one doesn't, but it does have a fine selection of pies to try out. I actually had calves livers in onion gravy which were very nice. One course for 2 with a glass of wine and a pint of Guiness - £39 Good value
