Description: Modern design meets traditional Indian virtues and the result is a marvellous marriage of the two. This smart restaurant is very contemporary, kitted out in spicy orange and regal purple with lovely decor all around. The dishes have been slightly modernised, but only in the sense that we're all eating more heathily these days, so fat content has been lowered and fewer artificial colourings are in use. The food is delightful, spicy and fresh and winning. In fact, you will probably find yourself surrounded by purring regulars on your first visit. Dishes include the classics you love, like lamb tikka, samosa, onion bhajia, tandoori specialities, special duck dishes, classic chicken tikka masala, featherlight naan and all the trad curries. Baltis are available if you ask nicely. The service is warm and helpful and the entire experience very nice indeed.

Went here one evening with some colleagues, and to be fair, we only went here after there wasn't a large enough table for us at our first choice restaurant. Colleagues based in London said "the food is nice, but the staff are really grumpy" and they weren't wrong! This is nice Indian food, better than a lot, but by no... More

Visited Millbank Spice last Thursday night for the first time. Three of us ordered different dishes, mine chicken with ginger and garlic, was devine. Busy, but not too busy, excellent service, good portions freshly cooked. Will definitely visit again. Also have a takeaway service.

My wife and I were traveling to England and heard the Indian food was really good there. We were in Westminster and asked some of the locals for a good Indian food recommendation. We arrived after lunch but before dinner and were the only group in the restaurant. The food was absolutely fantastic. We eat Indian food in the US... More

This was your standard Indian food. Wasn't great, wasn't awful. Was somewhere down the middle. Nice service.

Popped in here one Friday evening on our last trip to London. Staff were very friendly, service was good and and unhurried. Portions were plentiful and tasty.

This was our second trip to Millbank Spice - On uur first, we were very surprised as it looks very typical - neon sign etc... However the food was great. We live in London and have tried many different Indian restaurants, including quite a few on Brick Lane. However this was much better than any of the Brick Lane ones... More

I have been going to this place for many years as the food is ok, even if it does tend to be on the expensive side, but I have finally had it with the arrogant waiters and complete lack of service. I think they have forgotten who the customer is. There are better places just up the road nearer Victoria... More

We live in Westminster and have loads of Indian restaurants within a short radius in central London. This is by far our favourite. We have now been going to Millbank Spice for several years since they opened and now can't face going to any other Indian restaurant as we're always disappointed in comparison. The food is delicious, fresh and plentiful.... More

Visited on a Friday night in December, this being our 3rd visit to this restaurant. Food, service and surroundings all fine only the toilets being down steep stairs is the only negative. Will probably go back again as this is our local Indian restaurant when staying in London
