Lunchtime visit with son to an old haunt from 80's/90's after a presentation event. Foie gras pate and Gravadlax starters followed by Onglet steaks. Food quite tasty but nothing special - slightly expensive for what it was but this is Mayfair/St James's. We didn't have dessert but what disappointed me so much was the really poor cheese tray. First time visit to a Chez Gerard and chose this one as it was close to the tube (so could get home easily). Bit hard to find initially, but was worth it - a hidden gem in my opinion.
