Usually a curry is a safe bet, but this one was average. We were with friends and there was more sauce than meat in the dishes. Also the rise served wasn't truly a 'mountain'. Service wasn't worth mentioning. The location is nice in the lovely Blackheath area, the restaurant itself looks good and it has a warm atmoshpere.

I used to live over the road from Mountain View. Great food (although I never varied my order much). I ate there about 30 times. I go back when I can.

I was very impressed with Mountain View. Staff are very professional and welcoming. The food is a cut above your average Indian with some interesting variations on the standard. We recommend the dahl makhani particularly. In the heart of Blackheath Village in an old bank building, much better as a restaurant. Friendly atmosphere and good value for money.

Didn't get the same service as the last person. Long wait to order and then food to arrive. Drinks were flat and food a little bland. There are better restaurants in the village
