We've been several times, usually having the sausages but today we had pie & mash. The mash & gravy help make these meals excellent. The pies are of a good size & very tasty. Personally I am a "champ mash & farmers gravy" fan, but I'll leave you to decide which ones you go to. The staff are friendly &... More

Everyome loves Mother Mash and it's what it says on the tin, lots of meals with mash but their mash is as good as it gets.

A pie and mash on a cold winter's day should be just the thing you need, right? How wrong could it be? VERY wrong. We were full of high hopes for tasty, simple grub on a Saturday and left disappointed and with bad indigestion all afternoon. The pies were not even hot and barely filled with any meat. What meat... We visited early Feb 2012. We were looking forward to this visit and were very pleased. The food was excellent, I had the Lincolnshire sausage and mustard mash with onion gravy, absolutely lush. We ordered an extra sausage and beans for our 7 year old which he loved. The service was a little slow and I asked for a bottle... More

I visited this restaurant for the first time on Sunday afternoon. It'll also be my last time. When we arrived there were no other customers. The menu is simple, you can have mash, and either pie or sausage. Hard to get wrong, right? I made the mistake of ordering some vegetables to go with my sausage & mach. Despite being... More

I love going to Mother Mash everytime i'm in London. The food is always delicious and the service is quick so you don't have to spend a long time there. I went to the restaurant that is just off Carnaby street in a little alley, but there are more than one around the city. They have options of different types... More

Amazing Pie and amazing mash. Portion size was okay and not too expensive. about £8 for Pie, Mash and Gravy. I had 'todays special' Steak and ale with cheese and mustard mash and onion gravy with a Peroni. Quick friendly service. I will definitely visit again.
