We took my mother in law for a dinner on her 60th birthday. It was good food, better than I expected after reading the reviews. Waiters were very attentive, didn't hover around too much, kept our glasses topped up and everything was fantastic! The lemon sole was to die for. My mouth waters just thinking about it. I tasted my... More

I took my partner as Semplice has a Michelin star. I wish I'd read other Tripadvisor reviews before using the Travelzoo voucher, as I'd have learned that Semplice fills its seats with voucher customers, presumably not get enough repeat customers to stay in business. Food good but not outstanding and marred by cheerless waiters working in cheerless (black, brown, beige)... More

When a business advertises a discount offer and the customer does everything set out to activate it - and confirmation is received not once but twice (by email and verbally) - the customer should be entitled to receive a discounted bill... Yet this is precisely what did not happen to me this afternoon: I had registered for their "Welcome Semplice"... More

My husband and I went to Semplice for the first time on our wedding anniversary and I am so pleased we tried this restaurant. The starters were delicious as were the mains, I had the casarecce with lobster and peas which has now become my favourite dish in the world! For dessert I had the rum baba whilst my husband... More

A wonderful place. Great atmosphere and the food is excellent. Extensive wine list for lovers like me, and service incredibly attentative. Well worth the money and what I love the most is that every time I have visited, I have never felt rushed and that service has been catered to getting me fed, watered and gone in time for the... Great restaurant all through the experience...from the moment you walk in the door and are greeted by Giovanni until you finish your coffee. Food is fresh and delightful, wine list is select and well priced and the decor is seemless. Great place.

The food was all very good, the breads, starters, pasta and the dessert-nice take on tiramisu. Service wasn't Michelin star.

Couldn’t fault anything about the food when I visited for dinner – all 3 courses were fantastic from the A La Carte menu. Service was welcoming, but lacking in finesse for a restaurant at this price range. A positive experience overall, and I would return.

My wife and I visited this restaurant last week and were very disappointed with the service we received. It was very slow service, people who arrived after us got served before us. I ordered a bottle of wine five minutes later the table next to me orders a bottle of wine, they then receive their bottle and I ask where... More

We travel to London for a treat every once in a while and had booked this 1 Michelin star restaurant via Toptable. Was a bit disconcerted when I saw the reviews here but we went anyway. It wasn't busy; the welcome and service throughout the meal was friendly and efficient but I'm afraid to say our opinion of the food... More
