Very welcoming window display tempted us in for an early morning breakfast in this chain coffee house near Covent Garden. We were early, but there was an air of "muddle" about proceedings. The food was perfectly pleasant and the coffee was of a high standard as you would imagine. There was a lot of banging and clattering going on as... More

An unpretentious Coffee house with fabulous gateau. Great for a reviving coffee and treat.

we had a day out in london, stopped there to pick up some cakes. it looked delicious - unfortunately food is not up to standard, bisquit base of gateau of very poor quality. food wasnt ripe and didnt have any taste, they added grapes to creme patisserie - totally missed the point, chocolate mousse bitter but not from good chocolate... Despite the expensive prices, this cafè deserves a stop! We were two and we ate a pain au chocolat and a strawberry tart with 2 cappuccinos. Everything was extremely tasty and the waiters were all available and nice with us! For those we paid 12.20 pounds..taxes included..which I found a bit expensive!

Stoped here for our breakfast last weekend and wow. It was delicious. Staff were so friendly. Changed around menu to suit our taste. Tea in a teapot is a bonus. And a big teapot so can have a couple of cups. Food was delicious and large portion. Only got to see the variety of pastries and they looked delicious. All... More

Window display looks tempting but inside the cafe is overcrowded and noisy, with tatty menus, mediocre service and very ordinary food that is overpriced. Avoid - there must be far better options in this area.

Food was not bad but disappointing considering what you'd expect from the outside. Expensive for what it was, the food tasted and looked like it had just come off a factory line and was mediocre. The cheesecake was bland and the florentine was tiny- definitely not worth the £3.50 paid for it. For four people eating and drinking afternoon tea,... More
