The fox is local to us, we've eaten here a few times & been for drinks at other times. The food has always been lovely & they have a great little courtyard garden out the back. Good offering of wines & beers and we've always had excellent service. Would recommend as a great alternative to the gastro-pub offerings on church...

The wine selection here is very good and they also have some good bottled beer and ale. The steaks are consistently good. The atmosphere is calm and comfortable - a great place to go if you want a 'quiet night in' but don't want to flop at home in front of the TV. There is backgammon and decent reading material...

Lovely wine. Food very diappointing. There was barely any meat on our Sunday lunch pork (as my boyfriend said, 'which bits are edible?'), lumpy gravy and the smallest amount of vegetables. 2 bits of carrot and and 3 pieces of courgette.
