When we last visited The Real China they had a good selection for the children eg plain chicken without sauce. And chicken nuggets. All that was on offer were chips, hash brown, potato croquets. No plain chicken. Even when I asked they said they no longer did this. Such a shame as we love Chinese but as the children don't,... More

Hi all Just come back from The Real China at Chatham Dockyard. Sheila and I went with a couple who by their own admission were not big fans of Chinese Food however they were well impressed as were we. Large selection of dishes all hot - if not it was because they were empty and replenished fast. Total cost of... More

Go in often at lunch to grab a takeaway box.. Between 5 and 6 quid for a small plastic box but the food is always hot and tastes nice so I can't complain!

We visited today, arriving at 2:15. There was very little food in the "starter" section, some of the tubs were empty while the rest had just a little food in. The prawn toast was crumpled, stuck together and soggy. The dessert section was depleted too. All the food was cold. The "refillable" drinks machines had one out of order -... More

I very much enjoy eating at this chinese restaurant - the food is delicious and has a great range of dishes to choose from. Non-alcoholic drinks are good value, however alcohol is quite pricey here as other reviewers have already mentioned. I have eaten here several times since it opened, twice for my birthday and in large groups, then just... More

We went for a meal today and as usual the food was excellent, but we noticed the decor is getting very shabby. There are several damaged light shades and wallpaper peeling off the wall. The place was extremely busy, so it's clearly not enough to put people off a good meal for a good price, but when the front of... More

Every time I have been here I have had lovely hot cooked food. It is good value, all you can eat so you don't leave hungry! :-) Staff are always friendly and several occasions now I have gone here with family for birthday celebrations.

for a quick cheap meal in the day time but the price goes up at night. Food sometimes not very hot and none of it appears to be freshly cooked from scratch but you get to choose what you eat and can always go back for more. A large selection of little sweet bites but again appears frozen Staff friendly... More

A group of us came for dinner here and had mixed experiences. The toilets were absolutely disgusting and many things had hand written 'out of order' signs attached, including one of the sinks! So, with that in mind, having 'help yourself' jelly beans on the counter isn't such a great move when there are dubious hand washing facilities. The battered... More

We visited as soon as the restaurant opened on Saturday night and it was really busy despite only being able to take cash payments. The food was hot, fresh and plentiful with an interesting choice of desserts. Well worth the money.
