Description: Indian Summer is a Brighton based restaurant owned by long time friends and business partners Minesh Agnihotri and Byron Swales. Indian Summer was born from a mutual passion for Indian food and a firm belief that Brighton deserved some genuine, contemporary Indian cuisine which was completely lacking from the food environment at the time. It offers authentic Southern Indian & European cuisine made with traditional recipes from India. You will not find chicken tikka masala here, just great favourites like masala dosa & bhel puri. All our dishes are made individually without additives or colourants & we only use free range chicken. . In keeping with much of India’s culinary traditions much of the food is also gluten and dairy free.

I am a picky French woman especially when it comes to food. Service was outstanding from start to finish. This is not your regular curry house, this is indian haute cuisine. I loved the amuse bouches. I loved the fixed price menu. I loved everything about the place. Highly recommended. More

Very good Indian spot with a twist. Overall the food was by far the best we had in Brighton, a little pricey, but well worth it. More

Despite not having pre booked, we were sat at a table straight away, staff very attentive and friendly, food was amazing, extensive set menu, with quite a few choices, have eaten in many Indian restaurants, but this was by far the best! Will definitely return More

Visited on a Sunday evening, sat and was presented with a set menu with various choices contained within. All choices very different from your usual "curry house" menu. Have to say that the food was beautiful with little complementary surprises thrown in like a small soup appetiser and a mid course sorbet "pallet cleanser". All in all a pleasant experience... More

I have been to this restaurant on several occasions and always ensure that I visit it when in Brighton. The menu is excellent, there is plenty for the vegetarians and meat eaters. The spicing is perfect and they don't hold back on the heat in the hotter dishes. My favourite starter, and I have had most of them, is the... More

I went here on a date and thought everything was excellent. The service was superb with the waiter keen to make sure our table didn't wobble. The food was absolutely delicious. I couldn't ask for any more More

A very good bet . I used to go to the restaurant in Hove . Now they've moved but the quality is still high and it's light and just right for lunch and at a very fair price More

Having amazing memories from a trip to Kerala a few years back, my new husband and I decided to bring some southern Indian spice into our wedding reception. We cannot thank the staff at Indian Summer enough for making our wedding day such a memorable experience. We had exclusive use of the restaurant on a Saturday afternoon and were treated... More
