Cuisines: British
Dining options: Breakfast/Brunch, Reservations, After-hours
Description: Stylish and cosy with rustic dcor and down-to-earth staff, the Coach House restaurant and bar in Brighton is a favourite with locals for everything from parties and Sunday roasts to wedding receptions and business meetings. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere here is second to none, and you will immediately feel at home here in the restaurant which is located on Middle Street. Ideal for al fresco dining, the terrace has plenty of plants and lamps, and the dining room is a wonderful escape on wintry nights. The modern Euro menu is impressive we recommend the pigeon and lentil salad with parsnip crisps and a red wine jus; and the salmon fillet with tarragon sauce and sauted new potaoes.

This pub is on a relatively quiet street off the seafront and could be easily missed. You can sit inside or outside in their courtyard. We paid £65 for 3 courses and a drink (for two people). Food was great, service was efficient and friendly. I'd definitely recommend it.

We had the Sussex Rump steak, can honestly say one of the best steaks I have had! Really beautifully cooked, there was a lovely open fire pit in the restaurant which made it lovely and warm. Lovely waitress/barmaid was doing a great job! We will be back :)

My wife and I had our wedding reception here after we visited on two separate occasions to check it out. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was ideal. On the day of the wedding it was even better. First class service by all of the staff food went down a treat with all of our guests and the atmosphere... More

Good restaurant if you have a variety of tastes to satisfy. We ordered burgers & risotto, both were freshly cooked. Chocolate moose was excellent too. A little quiet for a Saturday night. Previous trips have also been good. A solid & friendly choice for a group of friends.

Ok service, lovely location and decor, however the food wasn't what we were expecting. For £16.95 for a steak we were expecting a very nice thick cut piece of rump, and we were served with what looked like frying steak, and the meat was very meat gristly! The menu said the steak was served with dauphinoise potatoes, and that was... More

We very much enjoyed our meal at Coach House, nice friendly service great atmosphere made even better by the huge open fire. Only downer was the hidden service charge (we missed it on the bill) and so we left another 10 % tip

We had a great horse-shoe shaped table where all of the group (x13) were able to sit in fairly close proximity to chat and engage in conversation. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. I ordered pork terrine which was nicely presented and tasty warm bread in baskets was available to accompany however the baskets were very quickly emptied and when... More
