Recently spent a weekend in Brighton and discovered this restaurant on the sea-front. Couldn't believe how reasonable the prices were and my friend and I tried it out for lunch. Service was quick and staff were very friendly. My friend opted for homemade beefburger and chips which was delicious, I chose the meatball panini and had the Cassava Chips, one... More

Spent 25 mins walking up and down the area where it's supposed to be trying to find it, including calling them twice for directions (they seemed more interested in telling me they were closing in half an hr each time). Eventually I gave up and spent a fiver on a [--] Burger King. Gutted :-( More

Many people (both tourists and locals) confuse Madeira Drive and Marine Parade - it is highly likely that this person was walking up and down the wrong road while trying to find us. It seems rather harsh that we have tumbled down the rankings simply because of a poor review from a person who has not even been a customer... More

I live in Brighton and when the other half is out on a shopping trip it always seems to involve a stop here! It’s right on the front but easily missed, but definitely worth seeking out. The staff couldn’t be nicer and the meals are always well put together. A really comfortable place to relax. More

Stopped first for a coffee before heading out. Very welcoming and delicious coffee. Decided to go back for late lunch. The menu is varied offering a wide range of English and Brazilian food. All the food is freshly made to order. I opted for the soup of the day and my partner went for a Brazilian platta. After my partner... More

The loop is one of the hidden gems in Brighton. Not far from the Palace Pier. It's a small but perfectly formed little cafe! All the meals are cooked to order from fresh local produce and you can taste it! Some interesting Brazillian specialities on the menu and all the cakes and scones are homemade. Try the coffee and walnut... More

Having purchased some groupon vouchers for this little place, I went there today. Its well tucked away but eventually I found it and am so pleased I did. I had the most wonderful cream tea I have ever tasted, lovely huge homemade fruit scone, with lots of raspberry jam and proper cream ! I can certainly recommend this to anyone... More

Took the day off work and decided to head to Brighton in 30 degree heat and to sample fish and chips in the 10th best rated restaurant in Brighton!. Whilst all comments about the welcome and friendliness of the staff are accurate, the food is distinctly average. The fish was smaller than what you would sample in a traditional shop... More

As a venue that prides itself in serving generously sized meals, it's disappointing to read that this reviewer did not receive our usual large portion of chips, and also that he was served a smaller than average piece of fish. It's particularly upsetting to read that the chips were burnt. We have had countless compliments on the quality of our... More

I came here with some friends based on a recommendation from trip advisor. We were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and the environment comfortable and relaxed. We ordered the cream tea which is a definite must if you go here! The scones were baked from fresh whilst you waited and were massive! They were quite easily the best I... More

Travelling between London and Brighton on a weekly basis I regularly have informal meetings with clients and staff in Brighton. Usually I use the coffee shop on St James’s street, but this can be a bit noisy from time to time, so on this occasion we wondered about and stumbled on this little place. The staff was overly friendly, always... More
