good food in a great location. When this transitioned from the Kemp Brasserie it went through a very difficult period however, it has pushed through that, and in the last year or two, it has become a local staple surviving in a very overcrowded local market. Food is varied and covers all the bases. Perhaps a little over fussy for... More

We came here on Saturday 18th May to celebrate my husband's birthday and our first weekend (of many to come) in Brighton. Chris and all of his team were so lovely and friendly and service was very prompt. The meal was one of the best we've ever had. We had the asparagus and William Tell dish to start, then the... More

What a pleasure to eat at 24 St Georges. From the warm welcome though to the faultless service and superb food. We genuinely could not fault the restaurant. The manager provided such a personal service and we would like to extend our thanks. The food is presented to a high standard and provides great value. I would have no hesitation... More

I booked this place at fairly short notice (after reading good reviews on here) for a family meal on my daughter's 18th. I was looking for somewhere a bit special, but reasonably enough priced for the poorer members of the group...and feel like I really came up trumps with 24 St Georges. Everything was exceptionally good, from how helpful they... More

I really loved this restaurant. The menu was interesting and ambitious and I wasn't disappointed. My main course of sea bream on a lobster risotto was outstanding, as was my dessert. The service was fine and the wine list was varied and reasonable value. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant and I'd certainly return when we next go to Brighton.

I can't rate this restaurant highly enough. It's chic and stylish with a decor that says 'eat me' but the food is something to write home about, and to anywhere else you fancy. Stunning, stunning, stunning. Every dish is perfectly formed and exquisitely presented, but the 'William Tell' picnic starter with its centrepiece of a golden apple which isn't an... More

We found this restaurant on Tripadvisor and booked for a Friday evening. We asked for a quiet table and got a lovely table for the three of us in the window. The Manager/Owner, not sure which as he did not introduce himself, was very welcoming and the staff very helpful. Our meals were delicious from the bread that arrived without... More

We chanced upon this restaurant in Kemptown, Brighton, and were very impressed. Imaginatively presented and delicious food, very attentive service without being intrusive. Highly recommended.

Visited Twenty Four St Georges for the first time on Saturday eve, with the bonus of our party using the Private Dining Area. Great room for the 10 of us; good atmosphere, nicely laid out and I loved the artwork on the walls! We were warmly and courteously welcomed on arrival and the champagne flowed! From booking until departure, all... More

We invited 2 friends as we'd heard that this was the best restaurant in Brighton. The room could do with some soft furnishings to absorb the incredible noise of talking. The service was excellent, nice to have a properly laid table and the staff well trained. We had 2 duck and 2 John Dory. The duck was 7 out of... More
