It was no surprise that this place was so busy. Yes it was a Friday lunchtime, good weather and in the middle of Brighton festival but the food was really good. Well priced with a great selection of side dishes and salads I will definitely eat here again if I get the chance. This is the sort of cafe I... More

This place is Fab. We tucked in to some delicious vegetarian fare and our son, being a vegan, was spoilt for choice. Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and food that is spectacularly tasty and healthy. You will leave with a full stomach and a smile! We did! :-)

Friendly staff here creating a lovely atmosphere. A great choice for both vegans and vegetarians and I thoroughly recommend the ginger and lemon freshly made lemondade!

I have eaten here a few times and the food is always fresh, varied & tasty, but after eating here last week, me & my boyfriend were still hungry when we left! Are the plates getting smaller? It's always buzzy & bustling & good that its a meat-free cafe, but I think £7 for a very small plate of food... More

This place is always busy, It’s a canteen-style so you can’t see what food they’re selling til you get to the front of the queue but the staff never try to rush you and let you take your time deciding. Food is really nice, delicious vege food. The drinks are expensive but I think that’s just a thing for Brighton.... More

Favourite cafe in Brighton. Brilliant food, brilliant prices, brilliant service. Great for lunch or brunch- always lots of choice. Fresh, wholesome fare- eg, nut roast en croute or Thai vegetable curry or Bean Enchilada Bake etc were a couple of things on offer today, plus an array of hot sides/salads and toppings eg. Mixed seeds, hummus etc. def worth a... More

Iydea is tucked away in the north laines, easy to walk past unless you know what you're looking for! It is constantly busy but the food is amazing. The dishes alter between vegetarian, vegan and gluten free - they are very creative and make that type of food appealing to all, including meat eaters. The food is very interesting and... More

We had heard brilliant things about Iydea and we weren't disappointed. It was pretty busy when we got there for lunch, and we foolishly ordered food before we found a seat! Luckily, we didn't have to wait long and in fact that lady who served us came out from behind the counter to check for spare tables for us! We... More

I had a really great lunch here - the food was excellent - really interesting and tasty vegetarian food, and really great value. It looked really busy but there was a lot of space to sit. Would highly recommend.
