Not overly busy, but had a roaring open fire, which was lovely coming in from the cold and wet. Food was good, slightly better than average pub grub. The standard of service depended on who served you, we had a slightly ditzy barmaid! More

Excellent food both lunchtime and evening.Well kept selection of ales, nice atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff. Well above the other pubs we tried in the Lanes area and highly recommended. More

More like a restaurant with table service. Good food, varied menu with specials. More

I eat here about 2 or 3 times a year, and the food is always really excellent - on a par with a good restaurant, way above your average pub. Service always very friendly and attentive too - if you're eating, you can order & have your drinks served at the table, so no standing at the bar. I like... More

I love this place. Because of atmosphere. Because of Guinness (or other beers you like). Because of food. Maybe this review is not very neutral or objective, but just.. I like this pub. More

This bar is always empty. Has no atmosphere and when I brought a group of good honest lads to enjoy the atmos of a rugby day, we were told to 'f@@k off' Not a pub u would suggest you visit if you are hoping to enjoy a group atmosphere. More

I'vre drunk in here a few times but Sunday was my first time eating. We'd been told by friends that the roasts were really good and they looked great when we got there but i really fancied the rabbit casserole. I wasn't dissapointed, really tasty and rich with smooth, buttery mash. My freind had roast chicken which dissapeared in minutes... More

Visited here on a Saturday night, the area around the bar was very busy but we were served quickly and the staff were very friendly. We took a seat towards the back of the pub, we were not intending to eat there but the food other people were tucking in to looked to good to miss. The fish and chips... More

I ate at the Bath Arms today and the food was just excellent! The veggie sausages are delicious. The portion sizes are huge! I can usually put it away but my lunch defeated me. No room for pudding :( will definately return. More
