We thoroughly enjoyed going to the Ventana Brasserie and Bar whilst staying at The Cumberland Hotel in Bournemouth. The staff are extremely helpfull and in particular Vincent, our waiter, should be commended for all the service he provides. We have just visited the ventana brasserie for an early evening dinner and as ways it exceeded our expectations. The food was only out shone by the service. I had the spicy chicken burger and my partner enjoyed the naked burger. The food is always fresh and even the bread for the warm bread served with oil and balsamic vinegar... More

Set in an Art-Deco style it provides a relaxing venue and charismatic surroundings. We ate in the hotel restaurant and only had drinks in the Ventana bar. However an experience well worth repeating. First discovered it when I stayed at another hotel which had a characterless bar and we "strayed" to Ventana out of desperation - glad we did ! More

As suggested in the title of this review we had our Valentines meal at Ventana. Upon arrival, declining the option of a drink at the bar, we were shown to our tastefully decorated table.
