Small indie establishment hidden down a little street near the sea. Fantastic burgers - quality ingredients seems to be the key. Friendly service.

This was our second visit to Blas and, once again, were really impressed with the range of choices, especially from vegetarian perspective. The quality matched the selection and also loved the fact that everything was sourced as locally as possible.
We went to Blas quite late on a Monday night and it was packed, with a great atmosphere. Luckily a group had just got up to pay when we arrived, so we got a table straight away. Excellent service, amazing burgers (and chips!) and lovely local drinks. I especially liked that they had a vegan burger on the menu as...

Absolutely loved the whole experience of this different burger restaurant. Had heard about it by a friend who had stumbled across it on a previous trip to st ives and probably wouldn't have walked in has I not heard of it. So glad I had. Delicious and good value - well worth a visit
Brilliant burgers - totally different experience from the watery garbage the chains dish out, lovely bun, great chips and a real buzz to the place. Great service, great value too.
It was ok. Not amazing but filled a gap. Great deal on at the moment £10 burger, chips and drink. Waitress we had was nice but we didn't tip as the service was a bit slow .... Sorry :-(
We aim to go to this little restaurant each time we visit St Ives but can't always get in as so busy (which says it all really). Lovely ambience with shared long tables and delicious freshly prepared burgers of all types. Always buzzing, it's a simple formula which they do really well. Long may it last. Do try.
I had high hopes for the Burgerworks, and after turning up on a Saturday evening (they don't take bookings) we were turned away due to a private party. However we were able to put our names on the list to be saved a space for later on.

Fell across Blas as we walked into St Ives from the train station and what a find!
Pro's:
Atmospheric and quirky room. It's part canteen, part rock n roll diner. Don't be surprised if you end up sharing a table with strangers (not a bad thing at all)
Service is equally fun and friendly. Felt like I was being served...

It's a casual dining experience, with just a few large tables which everyone shares. The toilets are also located around the...
