Great selection of fresh seafood, relaxed atmosphere with excellent service and clean and modern decor would recommend and visit again.
On the night we visited the Seafood Café in Fore Street, we’d just arrived from London so we hadn’t booked. The restaurant was busy, so we had to wait 10 minutes or so for a table. That was no problem – we enjoyed a glass of wine in the pleasant enough bar area and, while waiting, we chose our fish... More
Looks very nice and appealing from the outside, clean and bright. A good selection to choose and especially if you like the quirky fresh fish counter on display behind you. Overall a little expensive I found for the standard of food and drink we were served; fish a little dry and slightly unappealing vegetable selection.
This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotel. The recommendation was absolutely correct. It has a slightly quirky ordering system which works very well, essentially you pick your fresh fish from a delicatessen type counter and add-on sides and a starter. The Seafood Café was our joint favourite restaurant in St Ives. We ate here on three occasions twice for dinner and once for lunch. At lunch time it is a pleasant café with a good menu. We came back to the Seafood cafe after our first visit 18 months ago and it did not disappoint! If anything it had improved further!!! Excellent array of fish to choose from, helpful and friendly staff, great atmosphere and very reasonably priced! The fish medley is always a winner and easily feeds two hungry soles! Would highly recommend and will... More
