we were searching in the area and came across this wonderful place by chance and were so pleased we did. The food was plentiful and delicious and the pub itself was very special, each table candlelit. A superb experience More

down a narrow steep lane; but the building is interesting, the interior quaint, the food and beer is good and there is occasional music More

We visited this Inn with some trepidation having read the previous reviews on here - well whatever has been said, has also been dealt with . The food was excellent and freshly cooked, the service was top class and any previous issues have clearly been dealt with by management. Thanks for an enjoyable evening meal it was delicious. More

We stumbled across this beautiful thatched roof pub whilst holidaying in Perranporth. When we found it we were happy as it looked idylic. We had a dog so I sent hubby in to find out if there dogs were allowed and we were happy that they did. So we went in - we hadn't booked and they told us we... More

Tucked away down a small line outside of Newquay this very pretty pub serves up good quality food in a warm, welcoming environment. Don't expect great culinary heights, just good cooking at a reasonable price. Only downside is not much choice for vegetarians More

Found this pub through another website that listed decent pubs in the Newquay area, it exceeded every expectation! The food was appetising and plentiful, the prices are reasonable and the staff very attentive. There was a choice of ales from the local breweries and an extensive menu with the usual specials board and although it was full I noticed that... More

Went for sunday lunch and realised we had made a very poor choice. Starter of a half a pint of prawns did come in a glass for effect, the prawns was standing in water and some were not even defrosted. Expected fresh as so near the sea! Both the beef and the lamb was a big dissapointment, small portions of... More

My wife and I ate dinner here three times whilst on holiday week of 27th Feb 2012. On each occasion the food was excellent. The staff were attentive and very hospitable. Will definitely return next time we're in the area. Highly recommended. More
