Ordered food for 2 adults and 2 children, thought it was a bit overpriced to be honest just standard fare nothing to scream about. Didnt have any of the cakes or cream buns as they were too expensive, and we wanted lunch not dessert. Service was good, lovely and clean place. More

Lovely cake shop with gorgeous cakes. We went and had cornish cream teas in the tea room above the cake shop which was a really nice little treat after lots of walking around the coast. The tea room is very basic- not much atmosphere or decor like the other tea rooms we visited in the Cornwall area. More

Delightful old fashioned tea rooms on the 1st floor above the bakery which sold the most amazing selection of cream cakes, pastries and bread, etc. The young waitress was very pleasant and the pastries we selected were the most delicious and largest we have ever experienced. I selected a cheese and onion pasty which was accompanied by a generous side... More

Look at the size of the Knickerbocker Glories!! This takes you back in time to old style cafe - with lovely Cornish pasties and a decent cup of tea. A great place for afternoon cake like it used to be done! More

I have visited this tearoom on several occasions and never once been disappointed. On the main street in Newquay so very easy to find! The tearoom is above a bakery and cakeshop which sells superb bread and all manner of yummy cakes. The staff here are always delightful and the food is fresh and nicely presented. The scones are the... More

Sneaked into Paulines with a guilty look on my face and walked out with the contraband...! chocolate fudge cake and a fresh cream strawberry meringue that I hurried home to eat. I closed the curtains and got stuck in!!!! Both outstanding...!! I will be back and my research tells me that she sends the fudge cake by post.. its seriously... More

Good service, offered extra hot water for tea pots too. Pasties tasty if a little salty, tuna sandwich very good, coffee cake a little disappointing the icing tasted a bit artificial. Bit of a trip back to the seventies-or earlier in seating area but clean with good service as I said and at least it was open on a wet... More
