Although small, this beautiful little cafe is a real gem. The cream tea was gorgeous, with a choice of fruit or plain scones (they also do Gluten free) The decor is charming and the lady behind the counter was lovely. Although it took a little longer to arrive (the lady was on her own at the time) it was well... More

After sampling most the cream teas that Newquay had to offer, i stumbled upon the quaint coast cafe where I was welcomed by the most friendliest of faces and enchanted by its unique shabby chic atmosphere. I treated myself to one of there speciality cream teas with their award winning scones, I was pleasantly surprised to be bought a cream... More

We were walking down Fore St and came across Coast Cafe so decided a cream tea was in order. My wife and I had the traditional cream tea with 2 fresh plain scones served on a cake stand and lovely strawberry jam which I think is homemade as they sell it in large jars. My daughter had the chocolate pancakes... More

Visited after reading good reviews on the trip advisor site. It really does live up to the hype!! Really cute little tea room / cafe and the food was excellent. The service was next to none and made us feel very welcome and warm despite the cold weather. Lovely fresh fruit and I would thoroughly recommend the place to anyone.

You will not beat the scones served at Coast. Whether you choose a "proper" Cornish cream tea or the tasty cheese scones, you will not be disappointed. Everything is prepared fresh so don't expect instant food but it is definately worth the wait.

We stumbled upon Coast a few years ago on a wet and windy August afternoon, with 2 moany kids. We needed a drink and more importantly - shelter! Nori greeted us with a beaming smile and a warm welcome, and every time we go to Newquay, we have to go here - no exceptions! From the cosy decor, the lovely... More

This place is just so cute and looks like a little doll's kitchen. The interior is decorated with so much love for details. Therefore I had to get in and order something. I was even more impressed when I found out that they would offer homemade glutenfree scones with the cream tea. So I was in glutenfree heaven and had... More
