We had soup and steak and mushroom pie for lunch and they both are fantastic. We also bought a cheese and olive bread to go and it was also very soft and delicious. We will definitely come back here for quick lunch when visiting the island again!

We've travelled all over, and this is the best bakery we've ever come across. The breads and buns and croissants and jam pastries here at Galiano Bakery are all fantastic, especially the multi-grain and sourdough loaves. The berry pies are reasonably-priced and often just out of the oven! Their signature cinnamon buns are huge and sweet and warm and oh, so...

the price is a bit too high compare to the quality. The soup was not good. Croissant are mopre expensive than Thomas Haas or Beyond Bakery in Vancouver
This is a great, local bakery and cafe with a wide array of delicious baked goods and menu items. The samosas were particularly good, served with some amazing date chutney. I wish this place was near my home on the mainland. :)
I think I gained 5 lbs in 2 days, food was fantastic..try the soup! Excellent customer service, thanks!
The bread and buns are improved upon, with organic ingredients. Me thinks they use a lot of pre made mixes(costco) recommend the bread and buns only here. Cafe? Not really...but the only bakery on Galiano Island, but there are other better places to eat.
Fantastic spot to grab some freshly baked cinnamon buns to start your day! Oh and don't forget to get a few other treats for your picnic.
I absolutely loved the girls working here this summer. They were friendly and made a mean cappucino. My son loved the baked goods and had one virtually every day. He let me have a bit or two as well! We had interesting conversation with an American couple at the shared outdoor picnic tables.
Tasty and good coffee! We had to go there for a second breakfast after eating at Berengerie B&B, which was awful and stingy!
Coffee and Italian sodas were good but the treats are too sugary and lacked other flavour. They were over done and I ended up throwing out my cookie. The veggie wrap was just ok; it lacked flavour.
