First of all, Beef N Baker is technically in Hilliers (a hamlet outside of Qualicum Beach) on the highway to Port Alberni. We return over and over for a quick lunch that doesn't break the bank. The gunpowder soup is wonderful and served with tostidos and crackers on the side. My husband loves the chile. The turkey club sandwiches are great and big. Some unique dishes too. The gun power soup is awesome. Worth stoping for. Our favorite place in the area to go. More

Just down the road from the Coombs market on the Alberni Hwy heading to Tofino is a quaint take out cafe with the best Chicken Fingers on the island!!!
