Called a few times to make a reservation. Was getting voicemail but in the end there was a message saying that they are closed for an undetermined period.
Stopped here on our way shrough the area in August. Decided to have a sit down breakfast on the rear patio. Service was slow, Food was expensive. Bagels were very tasty and we would have been better off buying a dozen to go (Which we did after)
Cafe Noir is a fine dining experince at night, the bagel shop is next door. We opted for the 6 course meal. Each course was beautifully plated starting with the "amuse-bouche". We happened by after walking on the famous boardwalk at the neighboring marsh in Magog. Had a delightful three course, reasonably priced, meal with each course tasty, beautifully plated and served by one of the delightful new owners. Sat outside - in the sun - under an umbrella, listening to the burbling stream. Couldn't have been nicer. Do experience it.... More
We found this on our route, traveling the area. What a delightful surprise. As we approached the building, the scent of a wood burning stove permeated our noses! Good start!
